Robert S. Kirby, senior partner, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados and a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Quebec and Ontario. He is a former senior partner of the Price Waterhouse East Caribbean firm, having also worked with Price Waterhouse in Montreal and Trinidad.

Mr. Kirby’s major consultancies include three portfolio acquisitions for Life of Barbados Limited (US$30 million),  public issue of US$21

million for Life of Barbados Limited, hotel acquisitions and public issue on the UK market for St. James Beach Hotels, reorganization of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce branches in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean followed by public issue in Barbados and Trinidad (US$19 million), refinancing for a number of hotels in Barbados, St. Lucia and Trinidad. Robert is active in local and international tax planning issues and has advised many of the major corporations in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean in his role as the lead tax partner of Price Waterhouse.

Andrew S. Kirby, partner, joined the firm in 2002 after working with Price Waterhouse and Price Waterhouse Coopers for 7 years. Andrew passed the CPA examination in November 2000 and is currently a candidate for the Certified Financial Analyst designation.

Since joining R.S. Kirby & Co. Ltd, Andrew’s major finance assignments include a feasibility study for the acquisition of a UK company with turnover in excess of £100 million, development of 

 the business plan and prospectus to convert an existing hotel property into a condominium property, and development of a prospectus for a beach front condominium worth US$9 million. Andrew has also designed and performed computer assisted audit techniques and provided computerized information systems consulting to several major financial institutions and other non-public companies in Barbados and Trinidad.
